NORM LIPINSKI joined Surrey Police Service as Chief Constable in December 2020.
Prior to that he served as a Deputy Chief Constable in Delta Police Department, an Assistant Commissioner in the RCMP, and as a Deputy Chief Constable in the Edmonton Police Service.
 
Chief Lipinski holds a Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA), a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) and is an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces (OOM).
Chief Lipinski is a member of the Law Society of BC, the BC Association of Chiefs of Police and the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.
