All Candidates Forum – Council Candidates | 2026 Surrey Municipal Election

Join the Cloverdale District Chamber of Commerce to hear directly from candidates seeking election to Surrey City Council. This non-partisan forum will provide voters with an opportunity to learn more about the priorities, perspectives, and vision of the civic slates competing in the 2026 Surrey Municipal Election.

Please Note: This forum is focused on City Council candidates only. Due to the large number of candidates running for Council, each participating civic slate has been invited to designate up to two representatives to participate in the forum. A separate Mayoral Candidates Forum will be held on September 23, 2026.

QUESTIONS for the Candidates: Community members are invited to submit questions in advance by emailing info@cloverdalechamber.ca.

Important Information

• Event Format: The forum will include introductory statements, moderated questions using pre-submitted and pre-selected questions, and closing statements from participating candidates. There will be no open microphone or live audience Q&A during the event.
• Election Day: October 17, 2026
• Advance voting: October 7, 10, 14, 15, 2026.
